Basic Hookups and Settings
Step 1: Connecting the Antenna Cable
Select one of the following antenna hookups to record a TV program:
Hookup 1
For antenna only (page 14)
Hookup 2
For a connected signal source from your wall to your TV or VCR
(page 14)
Hookup 3
For a cable box (page 15)
Note to CATV system installer:
This reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer’s attention to
Article 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelines for proper grounding
and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the
grounding system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as is
practical.
Note
Use the supplied antenna cable to connect the VHF/UHF IN jack on the Video Recorder.
