802.1X
If 802.1X is used in your network, then you should enable this function for
the Barricade.

Parameter

Description

802.1X

Authentication

Enable or disable this authentication function.

Session Idle

timeout

Defines a maximum period of time for which the connection is

maintained during inactivity.

Re-Authentication

Period

Defines a maximum period of time for which the

authentication server will dynamically re-assign a session key to

a connected client.

Quiet Period

Defines a maximum period of time for which the Barricade will

wait between failed authentications.

Server Type

Select TINY or RADIUS as the authentication server.

RADIUS Server

Parameters
Server IP

The IP address of your authentication server.

Server Port

The port used for the authentication service.

Secret Key

The secret key shared between the authentication server and its

clients.

NAS-ID

Defines the request identifier of the Network Access Server.
