There are several LED indicators on the housing of the SMC2582W-B.They are defined as follows:
• ALV: Alive. Blinks when the SMC2582W-B is working normally.
• RF: IEEE 802.11b interface activity
• LAN: Ethernet LAN interface activity
• PWR: Power
