Creative Style settings you can tune to suit your taste
The 's versatile Creative Style settings let you quickly adjust image param-
eters to suit your preference and creative intent. There are four basic Image Styles
(Standard, Vivid, Neutral, and Adobe RGB), and three styleboxes to which you
can assign any Image Style of your choosing. The four basic Image Styles can
be adjusted for contrast, saturation, and sharpness, and the styles in the three
styleboxes can be adjusted for contrast, saturation, sharpness, brightness, and
zone matching (no saturation adjustment on Sepia or B/W). With a total of 14

Standard Rich tonal gradation and color; suitable for a wide range of subjects and scenes
Vivid
Heightened contrast; suitable for subjects such as flowers, spring foliage, sky scenes, and ocean
views
Neutral
Attenuated saturation and sharpness; provides a neutral starting point for images that are to be
post-processed
Adobe RGB For capturing images in the Adobe RGB color space
Clear For clear images with limpid colors in the highlights; helps evoke a sense of radiant light
Deep For images with deep and dense color; helps evoke a sense of depth and solidity.
Light For images with bright, uncomplicated color expression; helps evoke a light, refreshing ambience
Portrait For images with rich, natural skin tones; ideal for portraits
Landscape
Heightened saturation, contrast, and sharpness for crisp detail and vivid color; ideal for land-
scapes and scenic views
Sunset Attenuated contrast for more faithful reproduction of night view tonalities
