Cage Nut:
A fastener typically used in square-hole universal type racks, similar to a Clip Nut. When
selecting the correct cage nut you must specify the thread size as well as the thickness of the
mounting rail they will be attaching to.

A fastener typically used on round-hole universal type racks, similar to a Cage Nut. They come
in different shapes and sizes. You must specify the thread type as well as the thickness of the
mounting rail they will be attaching to.
