Finding a Contacts Entry

You can store phone numbers and their corresponding names onto either your SIM card or the phone’s built-in
memory. They are physically separate but are used as a single entity, called Contacts.
Depending on the storage size of the particular SIM card, the maximum number of phone numbers the card can store
may differ.

1.

From the Home screen, touch Contacts.

Touch the Contact entry.

Tap the Search field, enter a contact name or number and touch Done.

– or –

Touch and hold the slide bar and drag to the desired name.

When you locate the entry, press

to dial the number or touch:

• Edit: allows you to change or add information for the contact.
• Delete: allows you to delete the selected name and number from Contacts or delete multiple numbers. You are asked

to confirm that you wish to delete the name and number by touching Yes. To cancel, touch No.

• More: allows you to print via Bluetooth, send namecard via, or copy to SIM/Phone.
• Back: displays the previous screen.

Making a Call from Contacts

Once you have stored phone numbers in Contacts, you can dial them easily and quickly by using the location
numbers that were assigned to them.

Note: If you cannot remember a location number, you must search Contacts to find an entry by name. For more information, refer to

“Finding a Contacts Entry” on page 40.
