Sending a Fax From the Document Glass
You can also send faxes from the document glass. Multiple pages can
be sent in a single fax transmission.
Note: When using Rapid Key Dialing, make sure no documents are loaded in
the auto document feeder. If documents are loaded in both the auto document
feeder and on the document glass, the document in the auto document feeder
will be faxed.

Open the cover of the Color Inkjet,
and place the original face down on
the glass with the top edge against the
document guide.
• Make sure the center of the original
is aligned with the center mark on
the document guide, and then close
the cover.
• Set the resolution and/or contrast if
desired.

Dial using one of the following
methods:
• Press a Rapid Key.
• Press the SPEED DIAL key and
enter a 2-digit Speed Dial number.
• Press the number keys to enter a
full fax number.
