Ringer type setting for message calls
This option enables you to set a unique ri n ger type fo r
incoming message calls.This means you can have distinct
ri n ger types for Voicemail notifi c a t i o n s ,Text message s ,
nu m e ric pages and Wi reless Web message s .( Wi reless We b
m e s s age notification may not be ava i l able at time of pri n t-
i n g . )
To set the ri n ger type for voice calls:
1 . P ress
to display the Main menu .
2 . P ress for Setup / To o l .
3 . P ress for Sounds.
4 . P ress for Ringer Ty p e .
5 . P ress for Message s .
6 . P ress for Vo i c e m a i l , for Page , for Tex t
or for Brow s e r M s g .
7 . P ress the scroll keys to scan nine ring types and fo u r
m e l o dy tones.E a ch tone sounds as you scan the options.
8 . When the desired ring type sounds, p ress to save
the setting.
Ringer volume setting for message calls
This fe a t u re enables you to select a unique ri n ger vo l u m e
for incoming message calls.This volume setting applies to
incoming Voicemail notifi c a t i o n s ,t ext messages and nu m e r-
ic page s .
To set the ri n ger volume for message calls:
1 . P ress
to display the Main menu .
2 . P ress for Setup / To o l .
3 . P ress for Sounds.
4 . P ress for Ringer Vo l u m e .
5 . P ress for Message s .
Ringer volume setting for voice and fax calls
T h e re are two ways to set the ri n ger volume for voice and
fax calls:
From Standby mode, p ress the volume keys until the
d e s i red volume is re a ch e d .The options are High, M e d ,
L ow,Vi b ra t e , 1-Beep or Off.
In the Main menu :
1 . P ress to display the Main menu .
2 . P ress for Setup / To o l .
3 . P ress for Sounds.
4 . P ress for Ringer Vo l u m e .
5 . P ress for Calls.
6 . P ress the scroll keys to High, M e d ,L ow, 1 - B e e p ,Vi b ra t e
or Off.
7 . When the desired ri n ger volume setting display s ,p re s s
to save the setting.
