Prepend a phone number
Your Samsung PCS Phone includes a Prepend fe a t u re (to
t e m p o ra ri ly disable call wa i t i n g , for ex a m p l e ) .This fe a t u re
lets you add a tempora ry pre fix to telephone nu m b e rs
s t o red in the Internal Phone Book.
To Prepend a stored phone nu m b e r :
1 . P ress to display the Main menu .
2 . P ress for Phone Book.
3 . Find the number you want to Prepend using one of the
s e a rch methods described under “ Vi ewing stored entri e s ”
on page 56 and then press
.
4 . P ress to display options.
5 . P ress to Prepend the nu m b e r.
6 . The screen displays “ P re p e n d i n g ” . Use the digit keys to
enter the calling pre fix and then press to place
the call.
Shortcuts to storing phone numbers
You can store a phone number quick ly by entering the
nu m b e r, and then pressing
.Then fo l l ow the prompts to
designate the lab e l ,name and entry.You can quick ly save a
number after an incoming or outgoing call. See below fo r
“ S t o ring phone nu m b e rs at the end of a call.”
Displaying my phone number
To display the phone number of your Samsung PCS Phone:
1 . P ress to display the Main menu .
2 . P ress for Phone Book.
3 . P ress for My Phone#.
4 . P ress to re t u rn to previous scre e n .
Storing phone numbers at the end of a call
To store a phone number after ending a call:
N o t e : If the call was incoming, and Caller ID info rm a t i o n
was not ava i l abl e , then the store option will not be ava i l-
abl e .
1 . Once you have pressed to end your call, t h e
s c reen displays the call time (length of call), phone nu m-
ber of the party (if ava i l abl e ) , and the “ O K :S ave ”o p t i o n .
2 . To store the phone nu m b e r, p ress .The pro c e d u re at
this point is the same as “ To store phone nu m b e rs and
n a m e s : ” on page 58.
