GETTING STARTED

Play a disc

Normally, when an MP3, or Photo CD disc is

loaded, the player w ill take more time to download
the initial data.

Switch on the player

Press the Standby button to turn on the DVD unit.
Turn on the TV set and the amplifier i f connected.

Set up the system

Select the corresponding setting o n the T V s e t ( A V 1 ,
AV2, S-Video etc.) and the amplifier, until the D V D
power on screen appears.

Press the

button on the remote c ontrol (or front

panel) to eject the d i s c tray. Load a disc and p ress the

button again to close the d i s c tray.

(Place the disc's label side up, blank side down)

Automatic Play

The unit will take a few seconds to load the disc
data, display the disc type logo in the left
upper corner of the TV screen, and then start
playing automatically.

If a DVD Disc Menu appears on screen

button on the

) to start playing.

Unpack the unit.
Read through thisowner's manual before installation and use.
Load batteries into the remote control unit.

Connect the system.
Connect the power cable to the p layer and then
to the A C power outlet.
Set the

switch on the rear panel to the ON position.

button to confirm the

selection.

The following DVD discs cannot or may not be
executed by the player:
1 ) DVD disc o f the w r o n g region code.
2 ) DVD disc w ith higher parental level than the

player's setting.

3 ) DVD-ROM for PC application (e.g. P C game)

that m ay come with the DVD m ovie packing.
