engaged in a call using the earpiece, the call waiting tone will be played
over the earpiece regardless of whether the new call is a cellular or T2T
call.
Multiple calls active
When you accept a Call Waiting call, the following rules determine whether
the phone uses the earpiece or the speakerphone for audio delivery.
•
By default, both calls are presented using the speaker setting that is
effective for the first call. For example, if the first call is using the earpiece
speaker, then the second call will use the earpiece speaker.
•
The second call will be presented based on the speaker that is being
used for the first call–regardless of whether the speakerphone was set to
ON or OFF when the handset was in standby mode prior to the first call.
•
When there are multiple active calls, you can press the speakerphone
button to manually toggle the speakerphone ON or OFF for both calls. In
all cases, both of the active calls will be affected when the speakerphone
button is pressed.
