Using Push To Talk

Leaving a PTT group

You cannot leave a PTT group that you created.

1.

Select

Menu

Push To Talk

Manage PTT Groups

Select Group

.

2.

Highlight the name of the group you want to leave.

3.

Press

. The message, “Leave Group?”

appears.

4.

Select

Yes

to leave the group, or

No

to discontinue

and return to the home screen. A message
requesting that you be removed from the group is
sent to your service provider. Your phone returns
to the PTT menu.

Dealing with multiple calls

There will be times when you have to handle multiple
call situations. For example, you are engaged in an
active PTT call, and a new cellular call arrives as a call
waiting call.

Receiving calls

There are three call situations:

1.

Receiving a cellular call while on a PTT call

2.

Receiving a PTT call while on a PTT call

3.

Receiving a PTT call while on a cellular call

These call situations may occur while you are engaged
in an active PTT or cellular call and a new PTT or
cellular call arrives as a “Call Waiting” call. You can
answer or ignore the incoming call.
• To answer the call, select the

Answer

softkey on

the screen or press

.

Note:

If you accept the incoming PTT or cellular

call, you will have one call active and another call
on hold. Toggle between the two calls by using

.

• To ignore the call, select the

Ignore

softkey on the

screen.

Placing calls

There are three placing call situations:

1.

Placing a PTT call while on a cellular call

2.

Placing a cellular call while on a PTT call

3.

Placing a PTT call while on a PTT call

These placing call situations may occur while you are
engaged in an active PTT or cellular call and you want
to originate a new PTT or cellular call, without ending
the original call.
