Introduction

The Kyocera KR1 Mobile Router is a high-performance tool that supports wireless networking at home, work, or in a public
place. The Kyocera KR1 Mobile Router supports uses a 32-bit PCMCIA (EVDO) wireless card, or a 1xEV-DO mobile phone, and
supports wireless data transfers up to 54 Mbps, and wired data transfers up to 100 Mbps.
The Kyocera KR1 Mobile Router is compatible with industry security features.

Connections–Kyocera KR1 Mobile Router (Back View)

Note:

The Kyocera KR1 Mobile Router contains two ports: a “Phone-In” USB Port, and a second internal diagnostic port.

Please use only the “Phone In” USB port for your 1xEV-DO WAN connections.
The second port is not for customer use. Please do not attempt to use this port.

WAN (EVDO) 32-bit PCMCIA Card Slot
Use this slot if a 32-bit PCMCIA card is used
for your WAN connection.

Receptor for
Power Adapter

Phone In USB Port
Use the Phone In USB Port if a 1xEV-DO
mobile phone is your WAN connection.

LAN Ports
These ports automatically sense the
cable type when connecting to
Ethernet-enabled computers. These
are Auto MDI/MDIX ports.

Reset Button
Press this button to
restore the KR1 to
its original factory
default setting.
