Name Set Function

When you drag in the direction of A

Increase the volume.

When you drag in the direction of B

Decrease the volume.

When you drag in the direction of D

• In TV,FM/AM tuner mode

Seek up.

• In Disc mode

Chapter/Scene/Track search up.

When you drag in the direction of C

• In TV,FM/AM tuner mode

Seek down.

• In Disc mode

Chapter/Scene/Track search down.

When you drag in the direction of E

• In TV tuner mode

Changing the preset band TV1,TV2 and video1
video2.

• In FM/AM tuner mode

Changing the preset band FM1,FM2,FM3 and AM.

• In Disc Changer mode

Making a forward disc search

When you drag in the direction of F

• In TV tuner mode

Changing the preset band TV1,TV2 and video1
video2.

• In FM/AM tuner mode

Changing the preset band FM1,FM2,FM3 and AM.

• In Disc Changer mode

Making a reverse disc search

Touch the part H

Each time you touch the part H , the graphic
mode changing six patterns.

Touch the part G

Touch the part G to return to the source control
screen .

Station Name Preset (SNPS) /Disc
Name Preset (DNPS)

If the cursor is in the desired character input
position, go on to step 4. If not touch either
[

2 ] or [ 3 ] to move the cursor to the desired

position.
Touching [

2 ] moves the cursor to the left and

touching [

3 ] moves it to the right.

Touch [

] or [

] to switch the character lists.

Touch a character.

Continue steps 1 and 3 until all the characters
have been input for the name.

• You can enter up to 16 characters for each name.
• To enter a space, touch [ SPACE ]. A blank is

inserted and the cursor moves to the right.

Touch [ RTN ] to finish name entry and leave the
name preset mode.

• If you want to change the name of a station, first

display the name of the station (following step 1),
then change the letter(s) that you by following
steps 2, and 3.

• You can assign names for up to 20 TV stations.
• You can only store names for up to 100 CDs.

101st Disc Name Preset is made, the oldest
disc name will be automatically erased to make
room for the new setting.

• CDs are identified by their total length and

number of tracks. If you play another CD that
happens to have exactly the same specifications
as another CD whose name is stored, the wrong
name may be displayed.
