Parameters that can be loaded/saved to
disk in version 2.0, but not in version 1.0
1. Program, Combination, Sequencer, Song Play
parameters
• Each mode 6.1-1 (1.1-1): “KARMA Time Signature”
• Each mode 6.2-3: “Start Seed”
• Each mode 6.2-3: “Freeze Loop Length”
• Each mode 6.4-1(2): RT Parameter - “Start Seed” /
“Rand Group”
• Each mode 6.4-1(2): RT Parameter - “Loop Length
(Freeze Loop Length)” / “Rand Group”
• Each mode 6.4-1(2): RT Parameter “Time Sig. (Time
Signature)” / “PE Group”
• Version 2.0 → Version 1.0
If the above parameters are loaded in version 1.0, the
settings will be ignored since these parameters do not exist.
• Version 1.0 → Version 2.0
In version 2.0, the above parameters will be set to their
default values.
2. Sequencer mode “Tone Adjust” parameters (5.3-1–6)
• Version 2.0 → Version 1.0
These will be ignored since version 1.0 does not have the
“Tone Adjust” parameters.
• Version 1.0 → Version 2.0
In version 2.0, the “Tone Adjust” parameter settings will be
set to their default values.
3. Program, Combination, Sequencer, Song Play modes
TxFltr “Notes“ parameter (Program mode: 6.1-4,
Other modes: 6.1-6)
• Version 2.0 → Version 1.0
Version 1.0 will maintain this as internal data, but will
ignore it. However, if you save this state as a .PCG file, the
setting will be saved to disk.
• Version 1.0 → Version 2.0
In version 2.0, the TxFltr “Notes“ parameter will be turned
On (checked)

4. Global mode RT (Realtime Command) parameter
(2.1-1), “S/S Out P/C (Start/Stop Out P/C)“
• Version 2.0 → Version 1.0
Version 1.0 will maintain this as internal data, but will
ignore it. However, if you save this state as a .PCG file, the
setting will be saved to disk.
• Version 1.0 → Version 2.0
In version 2.0, this parameter will be turned Off (un-
checked)

5. Global mode settings that were added in version 2.0
• “Foot Switch Assign“ (6.1-1) Tap Tempo…KARMA
Chord Trigger setting
• “Foot Pedal Assign” (6.1-1) JS+Y (CC#01)…KARMA
RTC Knob 8 setting
• “MIDI Clock” (2.1-1) Auto setting
• Version 2.0 → Version 1.0
The version 1.0 “Foot Switch Assign“ parameter will be set
to Cue Repeat Control, “Foot Pedal Assign” will be set to
MFX Send2 (CC#91)
, and “MIDI Clock” will be set to
External .
6. Program, Combination, Sequencer, and Song Play
mode GE Select: 1190 (U-A)…1509 (U-J) settings
that were added in version 2.0
• Version 2.0 → Version 1.0
Since version 1.0 does not have these GE numbers, it will
not play or operate correctly.
7. GE parameters and GE parameter values that were
added in version 2.0 (6.3-1–4)
• Version 2.0 → Version 1.0
Since version 1.0 does not have these GE parameters, it will
not play or operate correctly.
• Version 1.0 → Version 2.0
When this data is loaded into version 2.0, the values of the
added parameters will be set so that the data will sound
and operate correctly. The added GE parameters will be set
to their default values.
However for some version 1.0 GEs and GE parameter
settings, the parameters may be automatically re-set in
version 2.0.
