Connect the printer to a network with an RJ-45 (Category 5)
Ethernet cable.

Front cover

• Install or change print cartridges.
• Clear a paper jam.

Network connection speed
light

See how quickly your network is transmitting data.

• When it flashes, your network is transmitting data at 100

Mbps.

• When it is on, your network is transmitting data at 10 Mbps.

Network link light

See if your network is properly connected (the light is on).

Paper exit tray

Stack paper after printing.

Paper tray 1 (front)

Print on most types and sizes of paper. This tray has a paper type
sensor and should be used as the main paper tray. For more

number icon so you can match it with the appropriate paper tray
button.

Paper tray 2 (rear)

Print on various paper types. The default setting for this paper
tray is for plain paper. This tray does not have a paper type
sensor. Check the number icon so you can match it with the
appropriate paper tray button.
