Global Properties Menu

The Global Properties menu allows you to pause if an alert message has
been displayed, to view display boot information, and to set display and
video modes.

Exiting the LSI Logic Boot BIOS Configuration Utility

The Exit menu for the LSI Logic boot BIOS configuration utility is used
for all six of the menus listed in

Section 4.4, “Main Menu,” page 4-3

.

However, the available functionality is different for the Main menu and the
five subordinate menus.

To exit from the Adapter Properties, Persistent ID, Device Properties,
Boot Adapter List, or Global Properties menus, use the following
exit options:

Important:

If you reboot the system without properly exiting from this
utility, some changes may not take effect.

Troubleshooting

The LSI Logic boot BIOS Configuration Utility is a powerful tool. If you
disable all of your controllers while using it, pressing CTRL+A or

Cancel exit

Returns you to the previous menu.

Save changes then
exit this menu

Implements any changes you made on the previous
menu and returns you to the Main menu.

Discard changes
then exit this menu

Restores the default settings and returns you to the
Main menu.

Cancel exit

Returns you to the Main menu.

Exit the Configuration
Utility

Exits the configuration and automatically reboots your
system.
