• Serial number (located on the back of the printer)
• Installed options (i.e., interface and host type if applicable to the
problem)
• Configuration printout (see “Printing A Configuration” in the
Quick Setup Guide)
• Is the problem with a new install or an existing printer?
• Description of the problem (be specific)
• Good and bad samples that clearly show the problem (faxing of
these samples may be required)
