FUNCTIONS window DISC MANAGEMENT
By using the FUNCTIONS window you may access the main
functions quickly and easily.

While stopped
Press [FUNCTIONS].
Functions displayed depend on the type of disc.

Press [ 3, 4, 2, 1] to select an item
and press [ENTER].
To exit the FUNCTIONS window
Press [FUNCTIONS].

≥Press [HDD] or [DVD] to select the drive.
≥Release protection. [RAM]
(cartridge ➡page 12, disc ➡right)

While stopped
Press [FUNCTIONS].

Press [ 3, 4, 2, 1] to select “DISC
MANAGEMENT” and press
[ENTER].

Press [ 3, 4] to select the operation
and press [ENTER].
To exit the screen
Press [RETURN] several times.
To return to the previous screen
Press [RETURN].
[Note]
≥Once the disc has been formatted, the contents cannot be
restored. Check carefully before proceeding. The contents on
the disc are erased when you format it even if you have set title
or disc protection.
≥After finalizing [DVD-R]
–The disc becomes play-only and you can no longer record
or edit.
–There is a pause of several seconds between titles.
–When transferring (dubbing) in high speed, chapters will be
replicated.
–Titles are divided into about 5-minute § chapters, if
–the titles were directly recorded to DVD-R.
–the titles were transferred (dubbed) using any mode other
than the high speed mode.
§ This time varies greatly depending on the condition and
mode of recording.
