Configuring Advanced Polycom EagleEye SD Camera
Settings

You can use the system’s web interface to configure or restore the following

Polycom EagleEye SD camera settings:

Brightness

Black Level

Color Saturation

White Balance

To adjust Polycom EagleEye SD camera’s brightness, black level, or color
saturation:

1.

Make sure that the system and camera are powered on and awake.

2.

On a computer, open a web browser.

3.

In the browser address line, enter the system’s IP address, for example,
http://10.11.12.13

, to go to the Polycom QDX 6000 web interface.

4.

Go to Admin Settings > Cameras.

Quality Preference

Specifies the bandwidth split for People and Content video.

People

10% Content, 90% People

Both

50% Content, 50% People

Content

90% Content, 10% People

This setting does not apply if automatic bandwidth
adjustment is enabled using the API.

This setting applies only to calls of 128 kbps of higher.

Power Frequency

Specifies the power line frequency for your system only
when a Polycom EagleEye SD camera is connected.

In most cases, the system defaults to the correct power
line frequency, based on the video standard used in the
country where the system is located. This setting allows
you to adapt the system in areas where the power line
frequency does not match the video standard used. You
may need to change this setting to avoid flicker from the
fluorescent lights in your conference room.

Changing this setting causes the system to restart. After
the system restarts, you might need to select Detect
Camera
.
