Install the Gate
Gather (Quantity):
• (2) Male and Female Hinges
• (4) Carriage Bolts and Nuts
• Gate
• Gate Latch
1. Install the upper female hinge below the upper most gate clip ( 4A).
2. Install the lower female hinge directly above the bottom gate clip ( 4B).
3. Position the gate centered in the gate opening.
4. Attach bottom male hinge and slide up to meet bottom female hinge. Tighten securely (
4B).
5. Attach top male hinge and slide down to meet top female hinge. Tighten securely ( 4A).
6. With a ½ inch wrench, install the gate latch 3 feet (1 m) from the ground ( 4C). Note: The gate latch can
be locked ( 4D).
