This is a system error that occurs
when the power is turned on. The
POWER indicator on this unit blinks
in green. The unit will not accept any
operation commands.

Please leave the power on and wait for the
display to disappear.

This error can be resolved by restarting
the unit. However, doing so may damage
the tape in some cases. Please consult
your PANASONIC authorized dealer.

Press the EJECT button and retrieve the
cassette.
Then replace the tape.

Unplug the mains cable from the power
outlet and wait for some time before plug-
ging it back in.

Warning display (Displayed regardless of the DISPLAY mode)

When a warning display appears, this unit stops operation and cease to accept any opera-
tion commands. When TAPE DEFFECTIVE (5605 - 5609) is displayed, the unit similarly
stops operation but accepts one command, viz EJECT.

pens, please turn off the power and then on again.
