SIZE FUNCTION
The character size of the entire text can be adjus ted using the si ze function. Since the
character s ize t hat can be used depends on t he widt h of the t ape, the following table shows
the charact er sizes t hat can be used wi th each tape width.
The default s ize setting is AUTO . The current ly selected size setting i s al ways shown by the
indicat ors at the top of the di splay.
With the AUTO size setting, the m achine compares your text wit h the wi dth of the installed
tape and automaticall y adj usts the characters to the largest size possi ble. However, six ot her
point si zes are also avai labl e.
☞ If the AUTO size setting is selected and only one line of characters has been entered,
the text can be pri nted with a charact er si ze sl ightly larger than the maximum for the
instal led t ape under any of t he fol lowing conditi ons.
