• Setting Video Resolution and Quality

Video resolution refers to the number of pixels in a digital video clip.

Video clip quality depends on the file resolution that the camera applies

when the video clip is recorded. Higher resolution makes better quality

which occupies more memory space.

Setting Video Resolution

NOTE:

• The camera records video clips to the internal memory with one resolution

setting of 320 x 240 pixels.

• When a memory card is inserted for recording video clips, two resolution

settings of 640 x 480 and 320 x 240 pixels are available.

1. Insert a SD card. For a detailed guideline on memory card usage,

please see “6 Using the SD (Secure Digital) Card” on page 56.

2. Turn on the camera by sliding and holding the Power Switch in the

arrow direction shown near the switch for 2 seconds.

3. Set the camera in Video mode.
