Monitor Settings
Choose whether or not to display information in
the monitor, and set the monitor brightness. The
following options are available:

The following display options are available:

Photo Info
See “The Monitor” (c 6) for information on indicators in the monitor.
Photo info
Choose information displayed in monitor (see
below).
Brightness (default: 3)
Choose from five settings for monitor brightness.
Show info
Displays the current settings or
operation guide on the monitor
when taking or viewing pictures.
Auto info
(default)
Displays the current settings or
operation guide on the monitor
for just five seconds.
Hide info
The operation guide or current
settings are not displayed on the
monitor.
Framing grid
In L mode, a framing grid is dis-
played to help frame pictures;
other current settings or opera-
tion guide is displayed for five
seconds as in [Auto info] above.
