Focusing at Infinity

The focus indicator (

c

29) is always green when the shutter-release button is pressed half-

way with [Dusk/dawn], [Night landscape], or [Fireworks show] scene mode selected. Note,
however, that objects in the foreground may not always be in focus.

Dusk/dawn

Preserves the colors seen in the weak natural light before sun-

rise or after sunset.

• Camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame.

• Use of a tripod recommended to prevent blurring.

Slow shutter speeds are used to produce stunning night land-

scapes.
