Turning the Device Off

After the device has been turned off, the splash screen re-displays when the device is
turned back on.

Press and hold the

(On/Standby/Off) button on the top of the device for eight

(8) seconds, then release.

First Time Startup

When you first start your device, the L

1. Select the appropriate language and tap OK.

2. Select either Kilometers or Miles and tap OK.

LOCK

SETTING

WINDOW

displays.

3. Select either 12h (am/pm) or 24h and tap OK.

The selected options will be used by the device.

Note: When your device is not in use for an extended period, use this procedure to
turn off your device and conserve battery power.

Caution! Selecting the

(Cancel) button during these steps will cause the

NAVIGON device to cease operation and will require the user to reset the device.
