Turning Password Protection on or off

Use the following procedure to turn Password Protection on or off.

key.

Enter your new password using the
dialpad. To enter special characters,
press the

Up

Press the

Select

soft key to accept the

new password.

Note: If you are locked out of your IP
Phone 1230, or if you forget your SCPW,
contact your system administrator.

Directory

Press the

Up or Down

keys to scroll and

select

Change Protection Mode

.

3.

Enter your new password using the
dialpad (if Password Protection is
enabled).
To enter special characters, press the

Up
