Unscrew and remove the cover of the scanner, lifting it vertically to avoid bumping it against the
antenna.
Carefully lift the main unit and stand it upright in the slot on the scanner casing:
Remove the shield cover from the underside of the main unit to expose the J connector locations and
ground terminal location.
The broken line shows the route for the interconnection cable.
