ASSEMBLY

WARNING:

personal injury, always disconnect the engine spark plug
wire from the spark plug when assembling parts.

ATTACHING AND EXTENDING THE
BLOWER/VAC TUBE

See Figures 2 - 3.
 Slide the blower/vac tube into the motor housing.
 Latch into place. Be sure the latches are closed and the

tube and motor housing are securely together.

 Push the tube lock button down and pull the lower tube

out of the upper tube by holding the front bracket to fully
telescope the tube out. You will hear a “click” sound when
the tubes are fully extended and locked into place.

ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE
VACUUM BAG

See Figure 4.

WARNING:

Never run the unit without the vacuum tube and vacuum
bag installed. Use of an improperly assembled unit could
result in serious personal injury.

 Slide opening of the plastic bracket on the vacuum bag

over the discharge outlet on the bottom of the motor
housing.

 Pull the tab on the plastic bracket out and push plastic

bracket and vacuum bag onto motor housing. Let tab

lock into slot on motor housing.

 Push clip, located on front of vacuum bag, into vacuum

bag hook, on underside of blower/vac tube.

 To remove the vacuum bag, pull the vacuum bag hook

slightly back and pull the vacuum bag clip out.

ATTACHING THE SHOULDER STRAP

See Figure 5.
 Clip the shoulder strap into the shoulder strap hook on

the rear handle.

 Adjust the shoulder strap so that it is in a comfortable

position for you.
