Sensitivity Settings (ISO SETTING)

You can set the ISO sensitivity of your camera according to your preferences.
The ISO sensitivity can be selected from among the following five settings: AUTO, ISO125, ISO200,
ISO400, and ISO800. In AUTO mode, the sensitivity is ISO160 with flash or ISO125 without flash. The
ISO sensitivity can be set by using the ADJ. Button or using the Shooting Menu.

Using the ADJ. Button

(ISO Sensitivity)

To change the ISO sensitivity setting using
the ADJ. Button, follow the steps below.

Turn the Mode Dial to 5

Press the ADJ. Button three times.

The ISO Sensitivity menu appears.

The ISO Sensitivity settings are completed and the
setting value appears in the right-hand portion of the
screen.

This setting will be used for shooting until you change
it.

• At purchase, the sensitivity is set to Auto.
• When shooting in a dark place without using the flash, raising the sensitivity enables you to give a subject more brightness.
• If you increase the ISO Sensitivity, it becomes possible to shoot under low light conditions, but your pictures may become grainy. The

higher the ISO Sensitivity, the grainier your pictures are likely to become, so it is necessary to exercise caution.
