Turning on the PDR-155

Before plugging in the PDR-155

• Make sure that all connections explained on pages 27–39 are complete (the connection to the

TV is required).

• Turning on the PDR-155 may cause a momentary power surge, which might interfere with other

electrical equipment, such as computers. If this happens, connect the power cable to a wall out-
let on a different circuit.

The remote controller buttons used in the following step are illustrated inside a gray rectangle (

).

PDR-155

Plug the subwoofer (SWA-155X) into an AC
outlet.

Note
• The shape of the power cord plug may vary depend-

ing on the area.

Connect the included power cable to the AC
INLET on the PDR-155’s rear panel, and plug
the cable into a home AC outlet.

• Do not use any power cables other than the

included power cable. Also, do not use the included
power cable for other equipment.

• To avoid risk of electrical shock, do not connect or

disconnect the power cable from the PDR-155’s AC
INLET while the cable is still plugged into the AC
outlet.

Press STANDBY/ON on the PDR-155 or press
ON on the remote controller to turn on the
power to the PDR-155.

The display and indicators on the PDR-155 lights up
and the POWER indicator of the subwoofer (SWA-
155X) lights up.
Tip
If you press the ON button on the remote controller,

the connected

components will also turn on.
