Manual focus

If Auto focus is unable to lock, use manual focus.

Hold down

for more than 1 second.

When the focus distance selection screen appears on the monitor,
press

to select MF.

to select the focus distance.

Hold down

for more than 1 second to save the setting.

Shoot.

To cancel the MF setting, hold down

again for more than 1 second

to display the focus distance selection screen.

To return to the AF mode, press

to select AF, then press

Using the flash

Auto-flash (No display) :
Automatically fires in low-light and backlight conditions.
Red-eye reduction flash

:

Significantly reduces the phenomenon of “red-eye” (subject’s eyes appearing
red).
Fill-in flash

:

Always fires regardless of available light.
Flash off

:

For situations where flash is prohibited, or when not using the flash.
Slow Synchronization

SLOW1

SLOW2

SLOW:

Adjusts the flash for slow shutter speeds. In the top menu, select MODE
MENU T CAMERA T

SLOW T

SLOW1, SLOW2

or

SLOW.

Press the

(flash mode) button repeatedly until the desired flash mode

indication appears.
