. Check the checkbox in front of This network connects to the Internet.
. Check the checkbox in front of This network uses a proxy server to connect to the
Internet.
. Under Proxy server, enter the proxy server name.
. If the proxy server uses a different port or requires a username and password tap Advanced,
select the proxy type to change its settings, then enter username, password and/or port number
in the proper fields.
. Tap .
Deleting a Connection
1. Tap > Settings > Connections tab > connections.
. Tap Manage existing connections.
. Tap and hold on the connection you want to delete and
select Delete.
The device can not connect to a PC through ActiveSync while connecting to the Internet using
GPRS.
7.2 Using Internet Explorer Mobile
Internet Explorer Mobile is a full-featured Web browser, optimized for use on your phone. You can use
Internet Explorer Mobile to browse the Internet once you have set up your Internet connection (if you
haven’t done so, please read the previous chapter before continuing).
Browsing the Internet
1. To browse the Internet you must have a valid connection established.
. Tap > Internet Explorer.
. Do either of the following:
•Enter the address in the address bar, and tap .
•Tap Favorites then select a Web Page.
