Touch dialing of

during a conversation turns off that station's microphone,

and a holding tone is heard at both stations involved.

This function is used when for one reason or another it is
desirable to stop a conversation temporarily. With this
function in use, a holding tone is transmitted to both the
calling and the called station while the conversation is

interrupted.

Touch dialing

again cancels the Mic-Off function, and the conversation
can be resumed.

When it is desirable to resume the conversation interrupted
with the Mic-Off function, the function may be cancelled

by the Party who operates the Mic-Off.

NP Type

Press-To-Talk Control

Touch dialing the specific station number.

One way conversation is activated while the Press-To-Talk

bar is continuously depressed, same as the Press-To-Talk
(selected simplex) function, and a relay is activated with

continuous make-contact.

One way conversation is reversed when the Press-To-Talk
bar is released, and the relay is activated with break-contact.

Note.

1. Stations No.200 through No.207 (8 stations) are the

specific stations.

2. It is possible to use a relay make output for Door

Remote or for controlling Radio Transmitting/
Receiving Equipment through user provided inter-

face.

3. The relay output of the Paging Interface Unit PI-62

is used for this purpose.

Adaption of this function permits the paging of only

all-call plus 23 zones (the paging of all-call + 31 zones

is impossible.)
