Installation
120V Models: OMNIVS500, OMNIVS500U
1 Plug the UPS into an outlet.
2 After plugging the UPS into a wall
outlet, push the ON/OFF/TEST Button
for one second to turn the UPS on (see
Controls Section). Please Note! The
UPS will not turn on automatically in
the presence of live utility power.
3 Plug your equipment into the UPS.
230V Model: OMNIVSINT500
1 Unplug the computer’s power cord from
both your AC outlet and the computer’s
AC input. Insert the female plug of the
computer’s cord (B) into your UPS’s
AC input. Insert the male plug of your
computer’s cord into your AC outlet that
does not share a circuit with a heavy
electrical load. Insert the female plug of
the power cord that came with your
UPS (A) into the computer’s AC input.
Insert the UPS cord’s male plug into
any of your UPS’s female output
receptacles.
2 After plugging the UPS into a wall
outlet, push the ON/OFF/TEST Button
for one second to turn the UPS on (see
Controls Section). Please Note! The
UPS will not turn on automatically in
the presence of live utility power.
3 Plug remaining equipment into the UPS.
