To find a location on the map

On the Maps screen, touch the Menu button
Search.

To search by typing:
a
Type the place you want to find in the search box. You can
enter an address, a city or country, or a type of business or
organization such “restaurant” or “school”.
b
Touch the search key
on the keyboard or the search
icon
on the search box.
To search by voice:
a
Touch .
b
Say your destination.
NOTE:
As you enter information, previous searches or matching
locations appear below the search box. You can touch a place name or
address to show the location on the map.

The search results are marked on the map by lettered balloons.

Touch the place name to view the address, details, and reviews for the
place if the information is available (For more information, see "To view
the details of a place" on page 81).
