USING THE TOTAL BODY PROGRAM

The Total Body program is an interval
based program designed to improve
muscular strength and endurance. It
alternates random effort intervals and
recovery interval. The effort intervals
will instruct the user to perform random
strength building activities such as:
“PUSH WITH ARMS”, “PULL WITH ARMS”, “LEAN BACK AS YOU
PEDAL”, and “PEDAL BACKWARDS”.

The program includes the following phases:

1. A two minute warm-up controlled by the user that is designed to

increase respiration and increase blood flow to the working muscles.

2. Seven 60 second effort intervals with random strength building activities.

The LCD message center will prompt you with specific messages.

3. Six 90 second recovery intervals to bring your heart rate back down.
4. A two minute cool-down to help bring your body back to resting level.

The total workout will be complete in 20 minutes.
