There Is No Power

• Make sure the power plug is firmly connected to the outlet or surge protector/power strip.
• If using a surge protector/power strip, make sure it is plugged in and turned on.

Power Is On But There Is No Sound

• Make sure the music and microphone volumes are turned up loud enough.
• Make sure the DA-7909V is set to the correct A/V input channel (CD, AUX, DVD, CDG).
• Make sure the speaker cables are firmly connected and connected correctly.
• Make sure the LOOP ON/OFF button on the rear panel is set to OFF (the light is off) if there is

no effect unit connected to the AUDIO LOOP channels.

The Vocals Are Cutting In And Out

• Make sure the speaker cable is not loose or bad. Change it if necessary.
• Make sure the microphone cable is firmly connected to the microphone and the microphone

inputs.

• Try using a different microphone.

There Is Music But No Microphone Vocals

• Make sure the microphone is not turned off.
• Make sure the microphone cable is not disconnected or damaged.
• Make sure the microphone master volume or individual microphone volume controls are turned

up to the proper level.

There Is No Video

• Make sure the video cable is firmly connected and not damaged.
• Make sure the DA-7909V is set to the correct A/V input channel (CD, AUX, DVD, CDG).
• Make sure the TV/Video monitor is set to the correct input.

There Is No Echo

• Make sure the Effect Level control on the front panel is turned up loud enough.

The Remote Control Is Not Working

• The DA-7909RV’s power is not on.
• Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly and not out of power.
• Make sure there is nothing blocking the view between the remote control and the remote

sensor on the front of the DA-7909RV.
