BEFORE USE
Wash the cross-shaped cutter (2), perforated
discs (3), retainer cap (12), screw (4), pusher
(15), meet feed pan (7) and the operating unit
(8) in hot soapy water. Avoid spilling water on
the appliance housing (1).
Rinse the washed parts of the appliance with
tap water and completely dry them before as-
sembling.
Make sure the On/Off button (5) is in the “Off” position.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Assembling instrutions
1. To attach the operating unit (8) to the housing
(1) insert it into the opening in the grinders hous-
ing as far as will go. While holding the operating
unit (8) with one hand, tighten the locking knob
(11) rotating it clockwise by the other hand.
2. Insert the screw (4) into the operating unit (8) as shown in figure
A; rotate the screw (4) until its tip gets into the appropriate groove
of the motor.
3. Put the cross-shaped cutter (2) on the end of the screw (4) so that
the rounded tip of the cutter (2) is facing the screw (4) and the flat
tip is facing the perforated disc (3). Make sure the cross-shaped
cutter (2) is properly fixed.
4. Place the selected perforated disc (3) on top of the cutter (2) so
that the projections on the disc coincide with the slots in the oper-
ating unit (8).
5. Tighten the retainer cap as far as it will go.
6. Place the feed pan (7) on top of the funnel and push it down until
fixed.
7. Now the grinder is ready for operation.
Use of the appliance
1. Place the grinder on a dry, smooth flat horizontal surface.
2. Remove the meat from the package. Cut out all bones and ten-
dons from the meat prior to grinding. Cut the meat into pieces that
will fit easily into the grinder funnel.
3. Assemble the meat grinder and plug it into a power supply with
voltage matching the information on the appliance.
4. Put the meat into the tray (7).
5. Switch on the appliance using the On/Off button (5).
6. Gradually push the meat pieces into the funnel using the pusher
(15). Do not push too hard.
7. After use switch the appliance off and unplug it from the wall out-
let.
