1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2. On the Security tab, click Internet, and then click Custom Level.
3. Under Active scripting, click Enable or Prompt.
4. Click OK, then click Yes.
5. Click OK.
Firefox
1. Open Firefox.
2. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
3. Click the image Web Features.
4. Check Enable Javascript.
5. Click OK.
6. Click Reload.
Safari
1. Open Safari.
2. On the Safari menu, click Preferences.
3. Click Security.
4. Click Enable JavaScript.
5. Close the window.
6. Click Reload.
Q: Why do I encounter a dialog with a “Connect as” field when trying to access a private
shared folder?
A: Leave the Connect as field blank, enter the password for the private shared folder, then
click OK.
