Rename a Drive
1. Click Rename a Drive.
2. In the Drive Name list, click on the name of the drive you wish to rename.
3. Type in the updated drive name in the New Drive Name field.
Note: The new name must be less than 32 characters and not contain any punctuation
marks.
4. Click Rename Disk, then click OK.
Unclaim a Drive
This section is intended only for advanced users who require specific NetCenter settings. If
you are not familiar with this field or are unsure about editing it, cancel the wizard.
Unclaiming completely erases an external drive connected to the NetCenter so that the
external drive can be connected directly to a computer.
1. Click Unclaim a Drive.
2. Click on the drive you wish to unclaim in the Drive to unclaim list.
3. Click Unclaim.
4. Click OK.
CAUTION: Unclaiming a drive erases all data erases and the file system and renders the
drive blank without any formatting!
