CAUTION

Operating Precautions

To prevent personal injuries, read and follow all instructions and warnings.

• Blades are sharp. Use extreme caution during assembly, disassembly, while

operating, and cleaning.

• Do not use if blades are broken, cracked, or loose.

• Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep fingers out of food pusher opening.

• Always operate food processor with lid cover in place.

• Always hold container while processing for stability.

• Do not leave food processor unattended while it is operating.

• Do not remove processing container from base until the motor has stopped

completely.

• Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism. Be sure cover is

securely locked in place before operating this appliance.

• Do not attempt to process hot liquids or foods.

• Be sure to turn the switch to OFF after each use. Do not attempt to dislodge

food without first unplugging the cord from the outlet.

• To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting assembly blades on base

without processing container properly attached.

• Do not use this appliance on the stovetop, under broiler, in the oven, in the

refrigerator, or freezer.

• Use an electrical outlet that accommodates the polarized plug on the blender.

On a polarized plug, one blade of the plug is wider than the other. If the plug

does not fit fully into the outlet or extension cord, reverse the plug. If the plug

still does not fit fully, contact a qualified electrician. Do not alter the plug.

• Do not use an outlet or extension cord if the plug fits loosely or if the outlet or

extension cord feels hot.

• Keep the cord away from hot parts of the appliance and hot surfaces during

operation.

• Do not attempt to use a voltage converter or other device to adapt your

blender to a different outlet or voltage, as damage

will occur.
