Make sure you are using Internet Explorer 4.0 or Netscape Communicator 4.x and later versions.

Make sure the Java applet feature is turned on. See the appendix on Windows Internet Explorer
Setup to configure your Internet Explorer. If you have Netscape web browser installed, use it
instead.
