GROUND (Earth)
Make sure to ground (earth) the generator.

Check the fluid level and fill if necessary.
Use only distilled water if refilling is necessary.
Installation
1. Turn the engine switch to the "STOP" position to
prevent accidental short circuiting.
2. Install the battery on the battery mount tray
securely.
NOTE:
Clamp the red wire to the positive (+) terminal first,
then the black wire to the negative (–) terminal of the
battery. Do not reverse these positions.

Be sure to service battery leads to prevent arcing
when the battery is not installed.
9 Disconnect the battery charging output lead.
Then insulate the generator side connector by
folding it back on itself and carefully wraping it
with electrical tape to prevent electrical con-
tact with ground (earth) or any other leads.
