UNIVERSAL ISOFIX CHILD SEAT
ASSEMBLY SETUP
The car is equipped with ISOFIX anchorages, a new
european standard which makes fitting a child seat
quick, simple and safe.
Traditional child seats can be fitted alongside
Universal Isofix child seats. An example of Universal
Isofix child seat covering weight group 1 is shown
in fig. 85. Specific Isofix child seats cover the other
weight groups. These seats must be used only if
specifically designed, tested and type-approved
specifically for this car (see the list of cars attached
to the child seat).
Due to its different fixing system, the child seat must
be anchored to the dedicated lower metal rings A
fig. 86, located between rear seat backrest and
cushion.
