Problem/Question

My device never gets

satellite signals.

Ensure the GPS simulator is turned off.

1. From the main menu, touch

Settings > System > General >

GPS Simulator > Off.

2. Take your device out of parking garages and away from tall

buildings and trees.

3. Remain stationary for several minutes.

My device does not

charge in my vehicle.

Ensure the vehicle is turned on and is supplying power to the

power outlet.

Your device can only charge between 32° F and 113° F

(between 0° C and 45° C). If the device is placed in direct

sunlight or a hot environment, it cannot charge.

My battery does not

stay charged for very

long.

To maximize the time between charges, turn down the

backlight. Touch

Tools > Settings > Display > Brightness.

How do I clear all of

my user data?

1. Hold your finger on the lower-right corner of the device

screen while it is turning on.

2. Keep your finger pressed until the message appears.

3. Touch

Yes to clear all user data.

My battery gauge does

not seem accurate.

Allow the unit to fully discharge, and fully charge it (without

interrupting the charge cycle).

The touchscreen is

not responding to my

touches.
