If applicable, remove the camera cable connector from the system board.

 

11.

Remove the display assembly from the computer base by rotating it towards you.

 

Replacing the Display Assembly

 

1.

If applicable, replace the camera cable.

 

2.

Reconnect the display power cable to the connector on the system board.

 

3.

Reconnect the display graphics cable to the connector on the graphics card.

 

4.

Make note of the cable routing and carefully slide the Mini-Card antenna cables through the computer base and into their routing guides.

 

5.

Replace the four screws on the hinges.

 

6.

Reconnect the mini card cables to the Mini Cards if applicable (see

Wireless Mini Cards

).


 

7.

Make note of the cable routing and carefully insert the Mini-Card antenna cables through their routing guides.

Replace the keyboard (see

9.

Replace the hinge cover. (see

Replacing the Hinge Cover

).

 

Removing the Display Bezel

 

1.

Remove the two rubber screw-covers/display bumpers.

 

2.

Remove the two screws that secure the display bezel to the display assembly.

 

3.

Using your fingertips, carefully pry up the inside edge of the display bezel.

 

4.

Remove the display bezel.

NOTICE:

The display bezel is extremely fragile. Be careful when removing it to prevent damaging the bezel.
