Model 536 Expansion Modules (536M)
The 53i IP Phone offers an optional Expansion Module that attaches to the
right side of the phone to provide additional softkeys.
The 536M provides 36 additional softkeys on a 53i IP Phone. The softkeys
support the following features:
• Busy Lamp Fields (BLFs) (maximum of 50)
• Speedial
• Shared Call Appearance
• Phone Lock
Note: For more information about configuring the expansion module softkeys with
these functions, see the Aastra 53i SIP IP Phone User Guide.
Each key provides an LED for indicating call status. The 536M provides a
paper label for convenient key labeling.
Additional 536M modules (up to 3 total modules) can be piggy-backed to
an existing module providing an additional 108 softkeys to the phone. You
connect the additional modules to the right side of an existing module. The
following figure illustrates the addition of multiple 536M modules on the
53i IP Phone.
You can configure the softkeys using the Aastra Web UI.
