3. INSTALLATION OF SOFTWARE
After installing the hardware, install the USB driver software contained in the kit CD.
3.1 Software Installation
1. Insert the supplied CD into the CD-ROM drive of the computer.
2. Connect the balance to the computer’s USB port through the USB cable
(supplied).
3. “Found New Hardware Wizard” window will come up. The following screen shots
are examples of the installation using Windows 2000
®
. Other Mircrosoft Windows
®
operating systems may show a similar window with a slightly different look.
“Hardware Wizard” in all versions of Windows
®
will guide you through the
installation of the necessary 2 drivers located on the CD with steps described
below.
